ALLEN CUNNINGHAM ALLEN CUNNINGHAM: We love Allen's work so much that we have added a page to our site, dedicated just to Allen's fabulous designs! Seven years ago Allen Cunningham started on a journey into doll making. With a keen interest in antique storybook illustrations, he decided to bring these quaint images to life. Each of these whimsical small vignettes is meticulously reproduced by hand from Allen's originals. Up to seven different mediums are used in their construction, making them extremely detailed and difficult to create. Bethany Lowe is now reproducing Halloween, Christmas and Easter pieces and she hopes you will share in her enthusiasm for the quality and craftsmanship of these pieces.

Because the gourds are a natural product the size, shape and color will vary with each piece. Many new styles are now painted or carved in the shapes of figures like ghosts or cat gourds! Gourds are also now being named after the Meadowbrook Team who takes such pride in creating these works of art!

INTERNATIONAL SANTAS! Jim Shore folk art pieces are so detailed and perfect for those of you who appreciate authentic American quilt designs! With their reasonable prices, Jim Shore line can't be beat! At market we were thrilled to meet Jim Shore. He is personable and has a story to tell about each piece he carves. The main character in his Halloween collection is a 'figure' that has haunted Jim's dreams for over 30 years. He says these therapeutic carvings have helped eradicate the figure from his dreams and the more they sell the more it helps!
