Ashley Carter's magical Goldbug Studios began in 2001. After 10 years of collecting in preparation for her passion, Ashley translated these treasures into one-of-a-kind handmade whimsical faeries and figures, enchanting even the most skeptical. Ashley actively searches flea markets and travels extensively to find the vintage millinery, antique toys, fabric & trim, paper ephemera, German glass glitter & Dresden paper/foil, lace, porcelain figurines and other accoutrements that adorn each handmade ornament or figure. It is clear there is a lot of creativity and love that goes into each one of Ashley's Goldbug Studio pieces. Because each piece is handcrafted using vintage materials, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
