We are not sure how happy the turkey is to be associated with this holiday, but maybe they would prefer the place of honor as the bird people identify with Thanksgiving, if some other animal ends up as the main course! However, the turkey as decor certainly makes a fabulous addition to the fall leaves, pumpkins, pilgrims and Indian figures used to decorate our Thanksgiving dining table and sideboard. There are so many options for turkeys that come in all sizes, and they are made out of everything from resin, paper mache, ceramic and even concrete!
