From Old World Christmas. Great White Sharks have been scaring beach goers since the movie Jaws came out in 1975. Their resurgence in the waters off our coasts is making everyone just a little bit more timid about going in the water. The Great White Shark is found in coastal waters off all major oceans, and is known for its incredible size. Female sharks grow to 20 feet long and weigh in at 4,200 pounds. Great whites are the largest predatory fish. The great white's size isn't their only intimidating feature, they also have 300 razor-like teeth! Swimmers beware! Hanging the Great White Shark ornament on our tree is the closest we would like to get to encountering this shark!
