From Old World Christmas. Cottages represent the heritage and culture of the glassblowers. They frequently created images that reflected their day to day lives. Ornaments were proudly styled after the homes in which they lived. This ornament is especially designed to capture the love and charm of a new home, and makes a perfect gift or keepsake. Even though the blue roofed house is actually a birdhouse made into a home by the red cardinals around it, it's still a great reminder of the excitement and wonder of a new home.
