The Tennessee Titans are a professional football team based in Nashville, TN and they compete in the NFL, National Football League. Beginning in Houston, Texas as the Oilers in 1960, the team eventually moved to Tennessee and changed their name to the Titans in 1999. They made one Super Bowl appearance during that year, but failed to win against the St. Louis Rams.
