The Ino Schaller company is one of the last remaining family owned companies that hand crafts traditional paper mache figures, all from materials sourced and located in Germany. Every detail on this Santa is gorgeous, from the beaded base and furry white trim on his silver glittered coat, to his cute hand painted face and the multicolored glitter that makes the tree he holds look like it's covered in ornaments. Once you actually see a Santa figure like this in person, you'll understand the craftsmanship and years of experience that went into making it. There's also a secret container under the base that can be accessed by removing the cardboard insert that is signed by the artist. These Ino Schaller pieces are the real deal, and it makes us proud to continue the tradition of collecting that they started over 100 years ago.
