The Ino Schaller company is one of the last remaining family owned companies that hand crafts traditional paper mache figures, all from materials sourced and located in Germany. This Santa has a silver glittered Cossack style hat that, together with his glistening white beard, frames his hand painted face. What will really knock your socks off is the hand painted winter forest scene full of snowflakes and trees on his silver trimmed red coat. Once you actually see a Santa figure like this, you'll understand the craftsmanship and years of experience that went into making it. There's also a secret container under the base that can be accessed by removing the cardboard insert that is signed by the artist. These Ino Schaller pieces are the real deal, and it makes us proud to continue the tradition of collecting that they started over 100 years ago.
