The Playing Card characters are loyal servants in the novel, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". The club cards act as the soldiers, protecting the Queen of Hearts. The Four of Clubs helps form the arches for Alice's game of croquet with the queen. This Four of Clubs carries a staff in his right hand with a red heart on top and his black hat has two hearts on it as well. The Four of Clubs has a red playing card on the back side of the figure.
