This towering Father Christmas makes his way through the dark of night to deliver gifts to all the people of the world. One of our favorite things about the larger than normal Santa by Lori Mitchell, is that because he is so much taller he makes a grouping more interesting, group the smaller Santa or snowpeople figures around him! The Old Father Christmas figurine is here to remind all of us to spread kindness and empathy to our fellow human beings and animal friends.

Old Father Christmas is bundled up in a warm off-white robe with a green belt and gold buckle to hold everything together. His recognizable red outfit is underneath the robe peeking out here and there to confirm that he is the real deal. He wears a white hat with a bronze tinted trim at the bottom to match his robe while his black boots with the gold lacing and buttons at the bottom bring out the whiteness of his cloak all the more. Warm green mittens cover his hands while he holds a lantern in one of them, a black sack full of toys and presents in the other. Poking out of the top of his sack are a frosted evergreen, a brown cuddly teddy bear with a red ribbon tied around its neck, a white bouncy ball with a green strip down the center with a slew of black stars decorating it, and a little dolly with a spring green dress decorated with white polka dots and a white Peter pan collar as well as white and red striped stockings. There is one more surprise in his pocket for you to spy, a mint green wrapped present with dark green stripes and a golden bow to embellish everything. He stands on a tan base of ground looking out through the space to get his bearings before he embarks on his quest of joy and happiness.
