Chiquita

For all you Carmen Miranda fans, this figurine is a must-have. This little Chiquita will “Chica Chica Boom Chic” you right into a conga line. She is festooned in South American-inspired clothes and colors. You may recognize her inspiration on a bunch of bananas at the grocery store. The first thing that may catch your eye is her Tutti Fruiti hat, comprised of grapes, apples, pears, oranges, bananas, pineapple, lemons, limes and plums...whew!  Just above every fruit you can imagine is on that hat that is tied on with a golden cloth. The top part of her dress is purple with an orange collar, and yellow and green wavy sleeves. Her skirt has a base of red with a borderline on the top and bottom of orange with a twirling hanging mass of yellow cloth lined at the bottom in green. Her red slippers accentuate the look, along with her gold hoop earrings and bracelets: a red and green one on her right wrist, and a red and yellow one with black polka dots on her left. This is classic Lori Mitchell design, she likes to add to her figurines to make them extra special. The green base presents a stage for Chiquita to perform and entertain the crowds.
