From Old World Christmas. Michigan has more lighthouses along its 3,200 miles of shoreline than any other state in the US. White Shoal is located in Mackinaw City and was built in 1910. Look for its unique red and white striped barber shop painted exterior as you navigate the waters. This wonderful glass lighthouse ornament actually looks exactly like the real thing, right down to the windows and portholes, and even the built in ladders on all four sides of the base.
