A Seasons Gone By design by Christopher James. The Beistle Company was founded in 1900 in Pittsburgh, PA by Martin Luther Beistle. Started in the basement of his home he produced Halloween prints and party ware with Halloween images. This vintage 1928 Beistle Scaredy Cat image has been reproduced, applied to plywood and then heavily glossed for a sturdy yet scary piece. He is made to look jointed with rivets where the legs and tail would normally move, but they are only decorative, not functional. The image is cutout with pinking shears to add to the creepy feel of the piece. It would be fabulous to hang on your front door or over a mantle!
