An American made Vaillancourt folk art design. This stoic Belsnickle is wearing a sage green coat covered in glittered snowflakes and green painted trees. Santa is carrying a sack filled with small toys, since he is on his way to a village full of good little boys and girls on Christmas eve. Intricate cross hatching on the sack and on his hood make this a really collectible piece. Vaillancourt artisans pour and then hand paint the chalkware. This piece is signed by the Vaillancourt artists.
