Père Fouettard is a French folk tale figure who acts as St. Nicholas' helper, dispensing coal and punishment to the bad children while St Nicholas rewards the good children. This Père Fouettard figure is a more loving take on the anti-Santa, with a red and black coat and a heart adorned sack full of toys rather than coal. White filigree covers his coat and his charming bearded face softens his imposing foot tall figure. Fun and unique, this Father Christmas figure is a collectors item in the making.
