A staple of the American diet and of course the Irish too, the potato is a vegetable that everyone loves, especially when it is cut and fried into French fries or mashed into creamy mashed potatoes! We love to do a small fruit and vegetable tree in our own homes, displayed on the kitchen table at the holidays, but this potato would also do double duty on the St. Pat's tree!
